The Bomb-itty of Errors: A Night of Beats, Bars, and Belly Laughs at Vibe Park

The Bomb-itty of Errors by RogueVA is a lit and lyrically sick spin on Shakespeare that will have you nodding your head and laughing from start to finish. The colorful and lively cast instantly pulls you in with the rapping, roasting, and nonstop energy, which is an impressive achievement considering the complexity and speed at which the lines are delivered.
The absurdity of two sets of twins separated at birth ending up in the same city is the perfect setup for this fresh style of storytelling, and the cast absolutely brought the story to life. The performances by Clifford Clark and Jay Prime as Antipholus of Syracuse and Ephesus were top notch. Their smooth lyricism, humor, and stage presence were felt throughout Vibe Park and clearly resonated with the crowd. Kai Alfonso and Kameron Peters as Dromio also killed it with exceptional comedic timing, synchronized dance moves, and strong chemistry that kept the audience engaged.
Delona Bean as Luciana, Ana Monae as Adriana, and Vania Alonnie as Desi DJ all delivered hilarious performances with smooth flows and standout moments that had the crowd rolling. Ryan Clemens as MC Hendelberg’s rap flow was not so smooth but it was hilarious to watch him try and that added a whole other level of humor to this wild play. Dai Poole, in his various roles as Dr. P, the Cop, and the Nun, had the audience cracking up every time he stepped on stage.
The RogueVA collective has done it again, putting on another successful and well-produced show that is definitely worth your time. If you're looking for a fun night out filled with laughs, music, and great performances, The Bomb-itty of Errors delivers.
